FAQ

How old do you have to be to play?
All players must be aged 6 years and above, and at least 110cm in height. This is to ensure the equipment will sit comfortably on the child's shoulders and not cause them to trip when walking around in the game. If you are unsure, feel free to come and try a pack on for size!

Standard games are open to all age groups. If you would prefer age restricted session, please check out Munchkin Madness for under 14s or Twilight for over 14s.

Will we be on our own in the arena?

Bookings are not exclusive. Game sessions are open to all members of the public. If you would to hire the venue for 2 or more hours exclusive use, please talk to us; exclusive Lock-Ins are available every day of the week after hours.

Should we book?

We recommend that you do, if possible! Only players booked in advance are guaranteed places in the games. Bookings for 8 people plus require a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable due to the limited number of places available, but they are transferable.

How does booking and paying for a party work?

A deposit of 50% is payable when you book, and then we take full payment and final numbers three days before your party.  On the day, your party room will be available after your first game up until the beginning of the final game. We include cordials with our party packages; fizzy drinks are available at additional cost. Please be aware we have arcade machines in reception. Parents might like to provide their children with spending money!

When are standard games available?

Games are available on the hour, twenty past and twenty to the hour. Make sure you get to Megazone 15 minutes before if you'd like to play in the next game. Staff will advise you on availability and possible wait times. Standard games are available after 1pm every weekday and after 12pm at weekends.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes! We have wine, cider and beer available at reception, refreshing and cold out of the fridge!

If we miss the start of our game, will we get a refund?

Games start promptly. If you arrive late, no refund or discount is applicable.

What are the rules?

All players receive a safety briefing before they play their first game. The rules include: no running; no climbing on walls or scenery; no physical contact; no laying, sitting or rolling on the floor; and no foul language. Failure to comply with the rules may result in removal from the arena. No refund will be applicable.

What should we wear?

Comfortable footwear and clothing that covers the shoulders is advisable, as that is where the equipment rests. If you wear bright colours, just be aware that they'll glow under UV lights!

Is your site wheelchair accessible?
