How long does a session of Megazone last?

One session lasts approximately 20 minutes. If your are playing more than one game you will have a 20 minute break between games to get your breath back! So, for example, two games would last for a total of one hour.  

Is there a minimum/maximum age?

The minimum age for players is 7.

There is no maximum age for players. We cater for parents, corporate entertainment, stag & hen parties and more.

Is there a minimum height?

Yes. The minimum height to play Megazone is 1.1 meters.  

Do I need to book?

Although you can just turn up and play, we cannot guarantee places unless you pre-book. Booking is especially advised on a weekend or during the school holidays.You can book by phone or by calling into the centre. We ask all players to arrive at least 15 minutes before their start time in order to keep all games running on time.

How many players can play at any one time?

Our arena holds a maximum of 39 players per game. A minimum of two people is required to play, however if you were thinking of coming along alone then we will try and fit you in with other groups.

Do I need to wear any specific clothes?

We recommend sensible footwear - eg. no high heeled shoes. Apart from that, dark clothes are better - but don't tell your friends! We use ultra-violet light in the arena so anything white will make you a glowing target!

Is there a minimum number required for birthday parties?

To book a Megazone Bronze Birthday party package you need to bring at least 10 people. For our Silver and Gold packages the minimum number is 8. For all birthday parties we require a 25% non-returnable deposit.

Will we have the arena to ourselves?

At present we don't offer exclusive arena hire during normal opening hours and there may be up to 39 players playing at any one time. However, we do offer late night lock-ins if you have 10 or more players. Click here for more information.

If you have never played before we will be more than happy to give you a free guided tour. Likewise, if you are a parent looking after a birthday party we can take you inside the arena to observe the game. Alternatively, you can wait in our reception area where you can purchase a selection of hot and cold drinks and watch the scores on our live score-screen.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash, any major credit/debit card and by personal cheque. You can also pay over the phone via credit or debit card.

Where can I park?

There is on street parking outside Megazone but it is not recomended. The closest NCP car park is Lee Circle; there is also the Highcross John Lewis car park which has a special rate of £2 parking after 5pm weekdays.
